We grow spray-free berries and vegetables and transform them into artisan jams and preserves using traditional small-batch methods.
A croft is an ancient name for a small patch of good farming land with a cottage, and that's exactly what Berrycroft is, a small five acre farm in Newlyn Victoria with great volcanic soils and a cool highland climate. Our family lives on the farm and we treat our production areas like an extension of our garden, integrating native species and regenerative practices to create a vibrant living landscape.

We pick our fruit and vegetables at peak ripeness, as well as sourcing seasonal ingredients from trusted local growers, to make artisan jams and preserves in small batches using traditional wide-mouthed preserving pans. No chemicals, no industrial shortcuts. We even hand-print our labels on a 1926 letterpress printer, because we enjoy the process of making things with care by hand and the results are truly unique. This is farming and food-making as it can be: human-scale and nature led, with actual flavour as the reward.
